WALKING TOURS

The Old Bank and Old Parsonage Hotels are renowned for the complimentary walking tours offered to their guests.

The tours are led by art historian and long-term Oxford resident, Isabella Underhill.

To request a place on one of her tours, please enquire on booking your room, as numbers are limited at busy times of the year and there are days when she is not available.

The walks, taking in the history of the university, visiting colleges and buildings of architectural interest, last up to one and a half hours. Isabella is happy to help guests on any other related matters; a full listing of her recommendations appears on the hotel websites in her Things to do in Oxford page.

DIARY

Unless otherwise stated walking tours take place Tuesdays to Saturdays departing:
2pm from the Old Parsonage Hotel
3.30pm from the Old Bank Hotel

There will be no walkings tours Tuesday 20th - Saturday 31st July inclusive.

There will be walking tours on Monday 30th August departing at 10am from the Old Parsonage and 11.30am from the Old Bank Hotel.

On Wednesday 1st September walking tours will depart at 10am from the Old Parsonage and 11.30am from the Old Bank Hotel.

These times apply until the clocks change in November 2010.
