From the city centre the hotel is situated half way down the High Street opposite St Mary’s Church (the University Church) and Catte Street. The hotel is the most centrally located in the city between famous colleges Merton, All Souls, University and Oriel and within minutes of the best of Oxford’s shopping, theatres, galleries, libraries and gardens.

The hotel has a large secure private car park which provides up to 40 spaces for hotel guests and is accessed via an automated barrier.

 

Directions

Oxford is well linked to the M4 junction 13 (23 miles) and M40 junction 9 (10 miles).

To locate the hotel from Magdalen Bridge, cross the bridge into the High Street, go through the lights and turn immediately left into Merton Street.The hotel is signposted from here. Follow the road round until you come to Magpie Lane on your right hand side. Turn into Magpie Lane and you will find the car park on the right hand side opposite the lampost. To approach the hotel via St Aldates you must enter Merton Street via Kind Edward’s Street, go through Oriel Square and turn left into Magpie Lane where you will find the car park. National rail provides a direct fifty minute train service to London every half an hour and the Oxford ring road, M40 and M4 are all within a short distance.

Coaches provide regular services to London from destinations across the UK and there is a direct service to London every nine minutes.
